This night started very early. Some local friends of Matthias advised him to be very early at the Zouk club in order to avoid the very long queues for Germanys number one export, DJ Paul van Dyk. So we took a taxi at 10 o’clock and headed to the club. Already at that time the queues were very long, but we took a side entrance at the Phuture club, which actually leads to Zouk club. The entrance fee S$ 30 was extremly high for singaporian circumstances but at least there was one free drink included (usually you pay around S$ 20 and get 2 drinks for free).

After getting the stamp we decided to go to little india again. Maybe some of you read the story about the Taal club in little india :) .The indian food is very delicious so we walked right into the next small restaurant ond ordered some food. After eating we went to a very big shopping centre called Mustafa, which prides itself never to be closed. It was quarter to midnight and the it still was heavily crowded. It’s really in experience to go shoping in little india, but one should never miss it.

Back at the club at quarter to 1 we decided to go in and just walked “vip-style” to the re-entry. Inside the club it was so crowded that it was almost impossible to move. Paul van Dyk started at half past 1 one and masses went crazy.

Update:

Another night partying at Zouk Club Singapore. This week we checked-out the ladies night on Wednesday. It got pretty crowded around 11 pm because they have the one-for-one or 1 for 1 or 1-4-1 :) No matter how you call it, this really rocks. We bought some vodka-orange, 2 glasses for 10.50 S$, which is about 5 euros. You could also have two bi jugs for 42 S$ … not bad …

The music on wednesdays is very retro style. A lot of 80ies and 90ies, but as long as you are in a biggger group, you can have fun anyway. The was no entrance fee this day ;)

Check out the ladies night on Wednesday at Zouk Club Singapore, it’ really worth it!

  1. I have not seen PvD for many years now. How was the set? I imagine it would have been a pretty crazy atmosphere, but was the music any good?

  2. It was a really amazing atmosphere, he started with very hard beats but towards the end it got more and more trancy.

  3. I’m not able to ‘detect’ anything on your little video, but I reckon it was a good night…looking forward coming to Singapore!
